Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Memory Enrichment Specialist to join our team at Oaks Senior Living, LLC. In this critical role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activity Planning: Develop and implement daily and weekly activities that promote cognitive stimulation, physical exercise, and social interaction among residents.
• Staff Collaboration: Work closely with caregiver staff to ensure seamless execution of programs and activities, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
• Resident Engagement: Foster meaningful relationships with residents, encouraging participation and enjoyment in planned activities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, program evaluations, and staff feedback.
• Compliance: Adhere to Oaks Senior Living, LLC policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum one year of experience working with residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias in a residential setting.
• Qualifications: Strong creativity, organizational skills, and ability to interact effectively with older adults. Ability to lift/carry up to 15 pounds, stand/walk for up to eight hours, and kneel/bend frequently.
• Certifications: Valid driver's license, satisfactory criminal history check, and negative drug screen.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
