Job Summary

Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Ensures all equipment and work areas are in good condition and meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Washes dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using a dishwashing machine
  • Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and work areas
  • Polishes silverware using burnishing machines or chemical dips
  • Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
  • Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces
  • Removes trash and places it in designated containers
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Helps load and unload supplies and product
