Cardiovascular Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology to join our team at TAL Healthcare, one of the largest primary and specialty care practices in New York. In this role, you will have the opportunity to specialize in cardiovascular medicine and imaging, providing medical services in collaboration with cardiology physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret stress test results
- Document patient history and physical exam findings
- Provide medical services for adult patients with cardiovascular complaints and conditions
- Supervise cardiac diagnostic testing and order laboratory examinations or tests as needed
- Establish diagnosis and formulate treatment plans
- Manage chronic illness and educate patients on prevention and maintenance
- Prescribe medication in accordance with New York State and federal law
- Collaborate with other clinicians and staff members to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner education program registered by the New York State Education Department
- 1+ year of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner treating cardiovascular medical conditions
- Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Current, unencumbered New York State Nursing (RN) license
- Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on qualifications, experience, and education. We offer a competitive benefits package, including generous PTO, all major insurances, and a work-life balance that values employee development and professional growth.
