Job Summary

The Registered Nursing (RN) position at Sentara Obici Hospital is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical specialties unit.

As a RN in this role, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based practice in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented RN to join our team, who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in shared governance councils and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and skills, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or Compact Multi-State License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical specialties unit
