Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse

TLC Nursing is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join their team of healthcare professionals. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with experience in assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where you work is required.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' conditions, including taking vital signs, history, and performing physical exams
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, including administering medications and treatments
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and take appropriate action as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment, such as IV pumps and cardiac monitors
  • Keep accurate records of patient care and communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where you work
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
