Adjunct Instructor - Barbering (South)

Instructing in the field of Barbering.

Applications for adjunct instructor roles are continuously accepted and will be evaluated as positions become available. These roles are not current openings. Instructors hired as adjunct faculty do not receive all the rights, privileges, and benefits afforded to regular, full-time staff. Adjunct instructors are engaged on an 'as needed' basis and will serve for the duration specified by the respective course. Some teaching assignments may include evening and potentially weekend classes. Faculty members are designated to teach courses utilizing various instructional methods tailored to the teaching discipline and the requirements of students and the institution, which may necessitate a physical presence at the designated work location.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Cosmetology or Barbering.
  • An Associate's Degree or a higher-level qualification.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A valid Texas Barber Instructor License.

Salary Grade: AH

Compensation is determined based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. Refer to Salary Schedule
