Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Teller to join our team at w3r Consulting. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a variety of services to Credit Union members, including cash and check transactions, membership enrollments, and changes.
  • Assist with collection activities by reviewing delinquent accounts, contacting members, and recommending delinquent accounts be turned over to collection agencies.
  • Perform all duties related to checking accounts, including setting up accounts, ordering checks, and assisting members with inquiries.
  • Carry out activities necessary to conduct business each day, including cash handling, signature plate placement, and error identification and correction.
  • Screen, verify, and process all types of loan applications, including auto, personal, and MasterCard loans.
  • Run credit checks, compare them to loan applications, and refer all loans to the appropriate person for continued processing.
  • Perform various Credit Union clerical activities, including preparation of bill payments, ordering supplies, and typing letters.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries concerning Credit Union matters, including loan information and account information.
  • Maintain all files examined annually by the Federal Examiner and Supervisory Committee.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in a banking environment, and/or Credit Union.
  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • High level of confidentiality.
Preferred Requirements
  • Ten-key/calculator experience.
  • Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria.
