Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plant Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch plant care services to our clients, ensuring their plants receive the best possible care and attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit client sites on a regular basis to provide plant care services, including watering, pruning, and fertilizing plants as needed.
- Safely drive a service vehicle in urban and rural settings, spending up to 50% of your shift driving.
- Service all required plants on the specified day, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention.
- Maintain and communicate appropriate light conditions and orientation for optimal plant growth.
- Ensure plants and display containers are clean and free of dust and debris.
- Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. from water and/or moisture.
- Maintain scenting and air purification equipment as necessary.
- Provide world-class customer service to our clients, establishing first-name relationships and addressing their concerns.
- Recognize and communicate additional Ambius product needs to grow the business.
- Complete electronic service reports to accurately document service tasks.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist on plantscape installations, including interior or exterior container gardens, wall-mounted systems, commercial plantscapes, and more.
- Safely load and unload materials and equipment.
- Safely hang and mount wall installations with your teammates.
- Plant vessels with a wide variety of plants.
- Assist on holiday decoration installations and removals as needed.
Requirements
- Solid communication and critical problem-solving skills.
- Experience caring for plants is preferred.
- Experience interacting with clients.
- Good driving record and ability to drive a van/truck.
- Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders.
- Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
- Must pass pre-employment background screen.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search.
