We are a growing Cardiovascular ASC dedicated to providing excellent care and services. We are seeking compassionate Radiology Technologists who are dedicated to providing excellent patient care and who enjoy working with a thriving team who values and supports each other.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for operating the physio monitoring system and complex imaging equipment, also serves in the role of scrub tech assisting the cardiologist or vascular surgeon during cardiovascular/interventional procedures. Additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining the environment and report issues with supplies and/or staff to the Lead Tech.
  • Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  • Perform patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for the patient's age.
  • Assure radiation safety and monitoring and compliance with rules and regulations in accordance with the Arizona Bureau of Radiation Control within the facilities.
  • Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping of patients for procedures. Give patient explanations and verbal reassurances consistently.
  • Set up and scrub for procedures in a timely manner that allows the patient to come into the room 5 minutes prior to schedule start time.
  • Maintain aseptic technique when opening sterile supplies, setting up procedures and during all invasive procedures.
  • Assist in the cleanup of room following procedure to include appropriate disposal of used supplies, handling of instruments, returning and restocking of supplies. Also participate in the restocking, resupplying, and cleaning of the support areas.
  • Operate all equipment safely and correctly. Perform preventative maintenance as needed. Ensure proper functioning prior to each procedure.
  • Ability to work as a team member, assists physicians and assists the with the interpretations of data collected.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program.
  • Current ARRT certification and State Licensure.
  • One year's experience in a cardiovascular lab required.
  • Current ACLS/BLS Certification.
  • Travel to other local sites may be required.
