We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
