Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childcare Technician to join our team at Arkansas State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing instructional and recreational activities for pre-school children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans that meet the needs of pre-school children
  • Provide personal care and direct recreational activities for children
  • Assist in maintaining records and developing lesson plans
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective program
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Ability to maintain records and develop lesson plans
  • Knowledge of teaching techniques and child behavior
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional weekends and after-school activities may be required.
