The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Wastewater Collections Division, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the delivery of various projects and assignments to support the continuous operation of our collections facilities and linear assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate the oversight of the design and construction of various projects of low to moderate size and complexity.
Lead reviews of design and construction documents to confirm conformance with the Agency's standards and goals.
Ensure that all prepared schedules, reports, and work products conform to the approved scope of work.
Manage the Interceptor Improvement Program, as directed.
Coordinate multiple assignments of moderate to high technical complexity with major potential impact on agency engineering operations and/or City's infrastructure.
Requirements:
Four (4) years of full-time, satisfactory experience in civil engineering work.
A valid New York State Professional Engineer's License.
Current New York State registration as a Professional Engineer must be maintained for the duration of your employment.
