Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing equipment, evaluating patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role involves serving as a preceptor for new staff and ensuring strong professional relationships with physicians to deliver excellent patient care.
About the Role:- Prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures.
- Evaluate patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Prepares equipment for use in cardiac imaging procedures.
- Assesses patient condition, prepares them for procedures, and provides support during treatment.
- Maintains a sterile environment during procedures to prevent contamination and infection.
- Serves as a mentor for new team members and participates in their orientation.
- Utilizes downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other assigned tasks.
- Fosters strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Candidate must be registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS.
- Achieve Basic Life Support certification within the first few months of employment and maintain it throughout their tenure.
- Prior experience in procedural areas is highly preferred but not necessary.
- $27.84-$45.46/hour, based on previous work experience.
