Salary

The anticipated compensation range for this position in NYC and New York is $16.00 per hour. Salary offered will be dependent on several factors including years of experience within the job, industry, education, work location, etc.

 

Job Description

As a skilled Nail Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing high-quality manicures and pedicures, encompassing nail shaping, cuticle trimming, and hand/foot massages.
  • Applying various nail enhancements such as acrylics, dip powder, and gel polish.
  • Creating custom nail art based on client preferences and current trends.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workstation adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction through attentive care and personalized recommendations.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid state cosmetology or nail technician license.
  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician with a portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
  • Proficiency in various nail techniques including acrylics, gels, nail art, and extensions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • An ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
