Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist at Hanfield Village Dental Care, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services to our patients, including routine cleanings, exams, and patient education. You will work closely with our doctors to develop personalized treatment plans and ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities- Provide routine cleanings, exams, and patient education to patients of all ages
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with our doctors
- Conduct thorough medical and dental histories to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for prevention
- Work closely with our doctors to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies
- Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
