Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment and Engagement Specialist to join our team at Central Montana Medical Center. This full-time position will focus on developing and implementing effective employee recruitment and engagement programs, committees, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct employment, recruitment, and transfer activities in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and guidelines, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
  • Screen, refer, and recommend qualified applicants, and assist Managers/Supervisors in making informed employment decisions.
  • Manage the CMMC acquired housing program for employees joining our organization.
  • Implement robust recruitment efforts for all departments at Central Montana Medical Center.
  • Determine salaries according to policy for new employees and transfers outside of management, executive, and professional level positions.
  • Provide employee relation support to managers and employees.
  • Assist managers in recruitment, including scheduling interviews with applicants and managers, and serving as the main HR representative for interviews.
  • Maintain employee recruitment records and files.
  • Assist with conflict resolution, performance improvement, and ongoing effective employee management.
  • Evaluate annual and onboarding educational programs, and suggest/implement improvements as appropriate based on current best practices.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives at the direction of the HR Director.
  • Manage community education programs, including student, volunteer, and internship opportunities.
  • Promote positive attitudes among CMMC staff, maintain open communications, and serve as a liaison and advocate for staff needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required; managerial experience in a related field may be acceptable depending on the total qualifications of the applicant.
  • Training and/or experience in Human Resources, employee relations, and/or professional development is strongly preferred.
