About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to join our team at Invitation Homes. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance department and ensuring that our single-family rental homes are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that service requests are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance expenditures to ensure that they are aligned with company financial goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with office team members and property management staff to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Identify, onboard, and coordinate with local contractors as needed.
  • Conduct field visits to resolve complex resident service issues and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians.
  • Recruit, hire, and train maintenance technicians and supervisors for the regional team.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 certification (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete OSHA 10 certification if not already certified).
  • Proven experience in all aspects of single-family construction, renovation, and/or maintenance with 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of residential construction and mechanical systems and ability to perform general residential maintenance work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and read and comprehend budgets.
  • Possess a current driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • One or more of the following certifications are a plus but not required: EPA Certification, Type I and II, CPO certification (pool).
