Job DescriptionWe're seeking an Entry Level Phlebotomist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting plasma from donors, ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a positive experience for our donors, answering phones, and greeting and focusing on their needs.
- Medical History Records: Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results, and maintain accurate records.
- Improvement: Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes as needed.
- Supportive Teamwork: Work in a fast-paced team environment, ensure a clean and professional work environment, and attend team meetings.
- Being Dependable: Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be there for our donors.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $18.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. We also offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
