Your contributions are vital. Each position plays a significant role in enhancing patient care, and we seek a committed Surgical Charge Nurse to join our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, you will coordinate patient care and staffing requirements for your assigned shift. You will ensure that care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies, state Nursing Practice Acts, and established standards. You will manage resources responsibly and serve as a mentor to your colleagues.
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: A current RN license from the relevant state authority or an active compact license is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required upon hire.
Experience: A minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience is required.
