Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders and disabilities in a school district located in the Hockessin area.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans to address individual needs, focusing on effective communication strategies and techniques.
  • Deliver therapy services in both one-on-one and group settings, promoting student engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate closely with the education team to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing support and resources to students.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders is required.
  • An active Delaware SLP license is necessary to practice in this position.
  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
