Lead Neurosurgeon

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Neurosurgeon to join our esteemed team at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. As a key member of our neurosurgical department, you will be responsible for performing complex spine surgeries and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various types of spine surgeries, including spinal fusions and decompression procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in teaching and educational activities, including resident supervision and medical student instruction
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and protocols

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a board-certified or eligible neurosurgeon with expertise in spine surgery. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $600,000 per year, based on national averages for neurosurgeons in the United States. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice insurance, CME allowance, and paid time off.
