We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our boiler plant.

• Operate and maintain boilers, engines, and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and control boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels to prevent malfunctions and ensure safe operation.
• Perform routine safety checks and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure a safe working environment.
• Record and maintain accurate logs and records of boiler operations, maintenance, and safety activities.
• Support the overall maintenance of patient rooms and the interior/exterior of the work environment, including tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and painting.

• Advanced knowledge of boilers, gauges, and valves.
• 3-5 years of general maintenance experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.

• Previous boiler operator experience in a healthcare environment.

• Minimum Blue Seal (if incumbent has a Red Seal or a Gold Seal, a Blue Seal is not required).
