  • Document and communicate observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and variations in patients' conditions; engage in electronic health record management.
  • Conduct nursing assessments, collect blood and other patient samples; may perform or oversee laboratory evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Possession of a valid RN license in New Mexico or eligibility through reciprocal licensing agreements.
  • Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers or Professional Rescuers within 30 days of hire.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of heavy work, exceeding those of medium work.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with physicians, medical trainees, staff, patients, families, and the community.
  • Capability to adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control measures.
  • Proactive in enhancing patient safety by identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Recognize and address environmental hazards that may pose risks to patients.
  • Encourage patient involvement in their own care processes.
