Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Program Manager assigned to the initiative throughout all phases of product development and transition to production.

Assist in formulating comprehensive plans that encompass timelines, resource allocation, and risk evaluations.

Oversee all technical dimensions of a project to guarantee quality and timely execution.

Coordinate and assess contributions from various teams, including engineers, technicians, manufacturing personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.

Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles (both internally and externally) to facilitate team progress in their development efforts.


Fill any technical voids that may exist within the project team by providing necessary expertise or by engaging the appropriate specialists.

Ensure effective communication between the development team and stakeholders.

Develop and review technical documentation, including interface control documents, operation and maintenance manuals, testing plans, schematics, system diagrams, etc.

Engage in technical feasibility assessments.

Support integration, testing, and debugging as required with project teams.

Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance or the capability to obtain one.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience. A Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 9 years of pertinent experience in project engineering, hardware engineering, design engineering, or systems engineering.

Hands-on experience and capability to operate in a laboratory environment.

Demonstrated debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed system and design specifications.

Experience in developing schematics, assembly drawings, and electronics manufacturing.

Proficient in interfacing with all departments within L3Harris, as well as with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.

Coordinate and evaluate work performed by other engineers (HW, SW, ME, CE, etc.), technicians, and support staff.

Ability to accurately estimate efforts and resources.

Experience leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams utilizing systems engineering tools and resources.

Knowledge of production workflows and processes.

Capability to conduct project and resource planning.

Able to think at both the system and component levels.

Experience in drafting proposals, BOEs, contract documents, and technical whitepapers.

Strong understanding of communication systems.

Experience with Link 16 or other tactical communication systems.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $122,500 - $227,500.

This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
