Construction Project Coordinator

The Old Dominion Group is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing smaller projects from start to finish.
About the Role:
- Manage and coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, and meeting critical milestones.
- Identify and resolve project-related problems that may arise.
- Work closely with the safety department to ensure a zero-accident work environment.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including project trackers and other relevant documents.
- Prepare construction submittals and forward them to the Project Manager for review.
- Review specification compliance and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the project team to coordinate mobilization, set schedule expectations, and provide project updates.
- Ensure project quality control plans are in place and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Prepare project progress reports and communicate project information to internal stakeholders.
- Represent the company at meetings and communications with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Assist field personnel as needed and negotiate change orders in a timely manner.
- Finalize and submit After Action Review (AAR) documents.
- Evaluate project risk and elevate concerns to the Project Manager.
- Manage project billing and ensure cash flow positivity within 90 days.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and leadership/problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations, quality standards, and human resources policies.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Bluebeam/On-screen Takeoff software.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
