Overview
The Georgia Orthopaedic Society is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to contribute to our esteemed Residency Program. This role combines clinical practice with educational responsibilities, allowing for a fulfilling career in both patient care and teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-time commitment, up to 1.0 FTE.
- Engagement in outpatient primary care alongside resident education and mentorship.
- Balance clinical duties with educational responsibilities, including direct patient care and supervising residents.
- Opportunity to develop leadership skills with a pathway to a medical director position, involving collaboration with residency leadership.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Internal Medicine is mandatory.
- Experience in academic medicine or a faculty role is highly desirable.
- Recent graduates (2024 or 2025) will not be considered for this position.
