Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized housekeeper to join our team at The INN at Gig Harbor. As a housekeeper, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning Duties: Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Common Spaces: Keep the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items, and communicate any damage or repairs needed.
  • Guest Room Preparation: Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel's standard before guests arrive.
  • Guest Support: Respond to general questions guests have during their stay.
Qualifications:
  • Strong Work Ethic: Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Cleaning Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
  • Education: Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent.
  • Experience: Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired.
