Career Opportunity: Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Imaging department.

We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and innovative cardiovascular services. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining sterile environments, collaborating with cardiologists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing equipment before and during procedures
  • Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
  • Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in staff orientation, and utilizing downtime efficiently
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible and/or current RCIS certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
  • BLS training and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
