Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Team Member to join our team at KJ's Market. As a Deli Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining high-quality products, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior guest service by actively engaging with customers and building genuine relationships.
  • Maintain the quality of products for sale by adhering to KJ's Market standards.
  • Ensure sanitation and safety throughout the department by following KJ's Market guidelines.
  • Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
  • Make PA announcements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to actively engage with guests and have fun with them.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and take direction from supervision.
