Cafe Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Associate to join our team at Chandler Unified School District. As a Cafe Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

• Food Preparation and Service: Assist in the preparation, serving, and clean-up of food in a quantity food service operation, adhering to safe and efficient food handling practices.
• Point of Sale Operations: Provide accurate and efficient point of sale operations while maintaining excellence in customer service.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: Display thorough knowledge of HACCP food safety guidelines and procedures, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Customer Service: Respond to all internal and external customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Experience in food preparation and handling desired.
• Certifications: Current Food Handler's Certificate or acquire within 30 days of hire.
• Skills: Ability to read and write English, operate computerized cash register/computer, and maintain accurate records.

This is a heavy work position that requires standing, walking, and lifting items of various sizes. Employees may be subject to travel, fumes, odors, chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, workspace restrictions, and loud noises.
