Job Title: Travel Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Travel Radiologic Technologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, positioning patients and equipment, and monitoring patients during examinations. They will also be responsible for producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians, and updating patient records.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences and monitor video displays
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensure safety, and follow procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in radiology
  • Two+ years of radiology tech experience
  • COVID vaccine with 2 shots & booster
  • License to practice radiography
  • BLS
