About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our data-driven development team at CloudKitchens. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the advancement of our cutting-edge menu platform, working closely with a team to enhance and support our technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data-Driven Development: Contribute to our data-centric development efforts, leveraging your expertise in software development to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Project Planning: Participate in strategic planning for various internal tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Agile Methodologies: Implement and test software using agile methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team to enhance and support our technology, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Code Contribution: Write, debug, maintain, and test code across multiple projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Architectural Design: Design scalable systems with a focus on robust architecture, driving innovation and improvement in our technology stack.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing changes to enhance our processes and technology.
About the Team

Our menu platform offers comprehensive menu management features designed to streamline restaurant operations, enhance customer experiences, and optimize performance. It serves as a single source of truth for menus, seamlessly integrating with online channels and offline point-of-sale systems.

Key Capabilities
  • Updating menus with new items, pricing, and taxes
  • Performing A/B testing on different structures
  • Setting availability by channel
  • Creating combos and promotions
  • Managing ingredients and SKUs
  • Configuring operational hours
What We're Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Systems or Networks Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of domain experience in a relevant role, with a strong background in Java development.
  • Individual Contribution: Proven track record of significant contributions in previous roles as an Engineer.
  • Architectural Skills: Ability to design and create robust architecture from scratch and evolve existing systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and efficient distributed systems.
  • Application Maintenance: Experience in maintaining and extending large-scale, high-traffic applications.
