Dental Hygienist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at ForwardDental West Allis. - Current or Soon-to-be Licensed: Current or soon-to-be licensed dental hygienist in Wisconsin and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent Working Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification: CPR certification
- Any Years of Clinical Experience: Any years of clinical experience
- Experience with Technology: Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to Learn: Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Ability to Perform Essential Duties: Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability for Training: Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
