About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Ridgefield, CT. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to licensed staff nurses
  • Document resident care accurately and completely
  • Participate in planning and following resident care plans
Requirements
  • Must be a registered certified nurse aide in accordance with state laws
  • CPR certification is preferred but not necessary
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • General work experience in long-term care is preferred but not necessary
