We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Services Site Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping and laundry operations at BSG Maintenance Inc.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, infection control, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor staff within the building, oversee the day-to-day operations of all employees, foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and ensure efficient staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring their proper usage, storage, and maintenance, and perform housekeeping duties as needed.
- Minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, patients, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies or urgent situations as needed.
- High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy.
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling and managing departmental operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
