System One is in search of a Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing operations for a prominent provider of tailored solutions. This position requires adept management of order processing and vendor negotiations to secure favorable pricing and timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage orders and requisitions in accordance with established protocols.
• Engage with suppliers to obtain product/service information and negotiate favorable terms.
• Evaluate products/services based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Generate purchase orders and verify the accuracy of specifications.
• Accelerate orders as needed and resolve any issues related to products/services.
• Identify and suggest potential new suppliers, foster vendor relationships, and assist in resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement documentation and support special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, accompanied by a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Certification as a Purchasing Professional (CPP) is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing, especially in metal fabrication, is preferred.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and a solid understanding of procurement methodologies are crucial.
