Job Summary

Pike National Bank is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily IT duties through our Helpdesk, researching, recommending, installing, configuring, securing, and maintaining technology in a multi-platform mission critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise server OS security patching
  • Perform tape backup and digital backup of network servers
  • Helps maintain the backup/recovery and storage systems
  • Assist with Windows Server administration
  • Systems performance monitoring
  • Assist with Physical and virtual server administration
  • Assist with Active Directory administration
  • Maintains documentation of the server patching process
  • Monitors, administers, troubleshoots and repairs server and network systems
  • Ensures hardware and software licensing compliance for server and storage systems
  • Installs new computer and network systems, prepares their initial documentation
  • Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories and security
  • Assists in planning and design of computer and network systems
  • Assist with IT helpdesk requests throughout the day
  • Provides advanced support to the Help Desk for Server and Storage issues
  • Work with the auditing Microsoft windows network
  • Act as a backup to the Night Processor as needed
  • IT systems and data protection oriented
  • Analyzing technical challenges and developing potential resolutions
  • Records problems which occurred, such as down time, and actions taken, and annotates logs as required
  • Producing and maintaining quality technical documentation and reports
  • Adhere to project plans and recommend plan changes as needed
  • Remains abreast of changes in system software and hardware requirements
  • Perform any task given to you by your supervisors and complete the task in a timely fashion
