Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective direct care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent and patient safety.
  • Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel, enhancing professional growth and development.
  • Ensure patient medical records contain necessary information, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients and families.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Certification within 1 year.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 1 year.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days.
Working Conditions

This role requires heavy physical exertion, with frequent lifting of patients and equipment. The work environment may involve exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials, requiring proper personal protective equipment.
