Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for our guests.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menu items.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pastry chefs and assistants.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, presentation, and customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Culinary degree and two (2) years' experience in producing pastry in a similar high-caliber establishment.
  • Received training in Pastry, Garde Manger, Bakery, Production, Japanese Cooking, A La Carte, Buffet, and Kitchen Artistry outlets.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
