About the Role:
As a Pediatric Transport Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients during transport, stabilization, and transfer. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will encompass critical care, pediatric assessment, and intervention, as well as effective communication with referral staff, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, stabilization, and treatment during transport
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and efficient patient transfers
- Communicate effectively with families, referral staff, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
This role requires a combination of experience, education, and certifications. The ideal candidate will have:
- A current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Neonatal or Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Emergency Department, or Pediatric Transport
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree from an accredited program
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
