Key Responsibilities:- Generate x-ray images in accordance with departmental protocols to assist in diagnosing medical conditions, ensuring verification of all orders and effective communication as needed.
- Adhere to customer service standards while interacting with both internal and external staff. Prepare and greet patients for examinations, confirming the correct procedures and provider details.
- Maintain accurate imaging records using radiology information systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and established organizational policies.
- Oversee the proper processing of images, evaluating them for technical quality and diagnostic suitability, in line with departmental quality assurance standards.
- Ensure the upkeep of radiology equipment, coordinating service requests as necessary, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Prepare and release copies of images and preliminary reports in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and practices while operating radiologic equipment.
- Comply with attendance requirements and be flexible to work at various sites and shifts based on operational needs.
- Complete mandatory annual training and maintain required licensures and certifications.
