Highly Skilled Software Developer for Advanced Missile Defense Systems

About the Job:
Northrop Grumman, a leading developer of advanced defense systems, is seeking a highly skilled software developer to join its team. As a key member of our C2BMC Global program, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that support the integration of missile defense systems.
Job Summary:
This mid-level software engineering position requires strong programming skills in Java, experience working with Agile development methodologies, and knowledge of software development tools such as Git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Gradle, and Eclipse. You will also be responsible for developing automated test scripts, integrating software components, and ensuring compliance with security regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions using Java and other relevant technologies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure smooth system operation
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex problems and improve system performance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of related experience or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong background in Java programming, Agile development methodologies, and software development tools
- Experience working with Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
