MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to MedStar Health's Code of Conduct and Compliance plan. Ensure patient safety and quality of care at all times.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform and transmit X-ray diagnostic images, as well as administer oral, IM, SC, or intradermal medications when ordered by a provider.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient flow, communicate effectively with patients and families, and maintain accurate records.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with new technology and best practices, and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Associate's degree
- Completion of an approved R.T. program
- Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting
- 2 years of medical office experience preferred
- ARRT Certification
- State License (Maryland, Virginia, or DC)
- BLS Certification
