**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide security expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and leadership in all security-related functions.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize threats.
  • Collaborate with senior specialists and task leads to achieve security objectives.
  • Obtain and maintain DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification.
  • Hold an active U.S. Government issued TS/SCI clearance.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years of experience, including >2 years in DoD/IC.
  • General knowledge of security practices with emphasis in personnel, physical, and/or industrial security.
  • Experience may be broad-based, crossing multiple markets (e.g., government, industry) and may also include relevant and associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices.
  • Works independently and closely with senior specialists or task leads.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Significant experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional security area (e.g., personnel, physical, industrial security; computer investigations; classification management; operational security; security education, etc.).
  • Directing activities of specialists or other staff related to the specified security field or security discipline.
