About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Associate to join our team at Walmart. As a Cafe Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food according to company standards, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe environment by following proper food handling and preparation procedures, and ensuring that all food is stored and displayed properly.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing situations, including unexpected customer requests or inventory shortages.
Requirements
  • Food Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant setting.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, such as a Food Handler's Card.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
