The Logistics Operations Supervisor ensures that all shipments are dispatched promptly and reach the designated customers with the correct quantities.

The Logistics Operations Supervisor is a collaborative individual who will work diligently, communicate effectively, contribute wherever necessary, and maintain a positive and proactive attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop all warehouse staff.
Manage performance through feedback, coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations.
Schedule warehouse personnel to meet operational demands.
Ensure quality and productivity standards are met while prioritizing safety.
Forecast and procure products to maintain accurate inventory levels while ensuring proper product rotation.
Continuously seek to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
Conduct daily inventory checks, verify accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
Oversee fleet maintenance to minimize disruptions to sales and deliveries by coordinating preventive maintenance.
Regularly inspect vehicles to uphold the professional image of the brand.
Strategically route and dispatch drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers.
Communicate issues, requirements, and successes with the General Manager.
Complete necessary administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Experience
A candidate must be at least 21 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.

Must possess and maintain a satisfactory driving record and valid driver's license.
Must be capable of lifting products weighing between 25 lbs. and 50 lbs. regularly.
Must be eligible for DOT certification.
Preferred Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience in operations, preferably within the distribution industry.
Availability and flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
Forklift certification and ability to operate manual/powered pallet jacks.
Comfortable and capable of driving vehicles of various sizes (box trucks, side loaders, vans).
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant software.
Highly organized.
