Interventional Radiology Quality Lead Technologist

The Quality Lead Technologist position at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center performs all duties of the Imaging Technologist, in addition to developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality and Safety standards, processes, and workflows, student and employee onboarding, and training and competency requirements.

Key responsibilities include quality assessment activities for assigned modalities, maintenance of accreditation and regulatory requirements, and collaboration with other Quality Lead Technologists to develop and maintain a consistent and robust Quality and Safety program for all Imaging Services operations.

This role reports to the Imaging Services Associate Director of Quality and Safety and is responsible for fostering a just culture and culture of safety to develop an effective and reliable quality and safety program structure through the involvement of stakeholders and defining program goals.

  • Develop and implement quality and safety standards, processes, and workflows
  • Maintain quality assessment activities for assigned modalities
  • Collaborate with other Quality Lead Technologists to develop and maintain a Quality and Safety program
  • Foster a just culture and culture of safety
  • Develop and maintain a quality and safety program structure

The ideal candidate will have a current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required, Advanced Registry in modality required, if applicable, and a current Radiography ODH license required. A minimum of an Associate Degree in a relevant field of study is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the modality over which they are a lead.
