About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team at HirefinderRPO. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our managing attorney in providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents, including routine pleadings, affidavits, and interrogatories, in accordance with judicial procedures.
  • Case File Management: Organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and other items.
  • Client Intake and Outreach: Conduct intake and outreach activities, including interviewing clients and preparing summaries of their statements.
  • Trials and Hearings: Assist the attorney with trial preparation, including attending trials and hearings.
  • Record Keeping: Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Work effectively with a large caseload, function professionally within a highly stressful environment, and collaborate with other attorneys, support staff, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, or related software.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex litigation is required.
  • Qualifications: A demonstrable awareness and sensitivity to the needs of the populations we serve is necessary.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment.
What We Offer

This exempt, full-time position is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $45,000 to $50,000. The company offers a generous benefits package, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, retirement, 13 paid holidays, and generous annual and sick leave allotments.
