Key Responsibilities

The MDS Coordinator will oversee all Medicare and Managed Care residents as assigned by the Resident Assessment Director. This includes managing all services provided during the resident's stay from admission through discharge. This role is also accountable for the precise and timely completion of all OBRA mandated assessments. The MDS Coordinator is regarded as a vital financial and clinical member of the management team and will not be subject to nursing on-call duties.

Required Qualifications
  • Current, active LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the RAI process and Case Management principles.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Compliance with all local health regulations and successful completion of any post-employment physical examination, which may include drug screening, criminal background checks, and reference verification.
Compensation Range: $49.19 per hour
