Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Early Intervention Specialist

UPMC Home Health is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-home services to children and families in Early Intervention within Blair County. This role focuses on family coaching to support the early speech and language development of children birth to 3.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech services for children birth-3 who are determined to be eligible for Speech Therapy Services
  • Coach families to determine strategies that will help support their child's development and meet the stated IFSP outcomes
  • Complete associated session notes and quarterly reporting of progress, work as part of an interdisciplinary team to benefit the child/family's success
  • Perform in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors
  • Attend compliance training and adhere to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required
  • One (1) year clinical experience in Speech Pathology to practice without supervision or less than one (1) year if practicing under supervision, i.e., ALF/PCH
  • Early intervention experience and special training in autism spectrum disorders and pediatric feeding preferred
